Wings of Flesh and Steel - Concept World

This is a VR simulated airshow, jets are loud, please be careful with your hearing. 

Please have a VR headset plugged in before launching the game. 

This is based on a game I'm hoping to develop in the future. This world is mostly my experimenting with Unreal Engine 5, but this is hopefully the beginning of much more. 

This is a simple simulated air show featuring a P67 Turtledove, a far future plane that I designed and modeled myself. 

The main concept of this game is Dragons vs Jets. 

This game is heavily inspired by Counter Strike. I love tactical shooters, and while this game won't be a tactical shooter in the traditional sense, I believe that many of the concepts will carry over well. 

I am still very new to game development, and I'm hoping to get this project completed over the course of a few years.

Story Concept

"In the far future, a global governing body has managed to diplomatically prevent war for over 200 years. This long span of peace destroyed traditional weapons development, and thus only a token military force remains in many countries.

A new threat emerges to challenge this peaceful world. Advancements in genetic engineering have made a new kind of weapon possible, weapons made from living organisms. The most advanced of these bioweapons is the BioWing: a creature capable of high speed flight made from the DNA of large birds, and modified into fire breathing monsters. 

The global government had no real answer to these new weapons, so they are forced to pull retired jets from before the peace, and restore them to working condition.

The game is planned to include 5 different classes of BioWings (dragons) and 5 classes of jets. but the first jet prototype is already completed, and is featured in this presentation. 

The P.67 Turtledove, a multirole fighter equipped with heat-seeking missiles and twin rotary cannons.
